Needle filter, works by reducing particulates larger than five microns when aspirating, reconstituting and transferring fluids, or when withdrawing medication from glass reservoirs, B-D filter needles offer reliable aptient protection. Reliability is enhanced by a luer-lok tip and a unique mold-in membrane filter which eliminates the possibility of filter disassembly. Clear plastic hub permits continuous inspection of fluids. Thin-wall needle and large filter area provide high flow rate. With easy-peel package and fiber-free package materials, the possibility of contamination is significantly reduced.
