- Carrasyn Hydrogel is a water-based, non-oily, non-adherent gel dressing with Aloe vera gel extract containing Acemannan hydrogel formulated to provide the moist wound enviroment for the natural healing process. It is used in wounds with LOW exudate. Can be used on (stage I-IV) pressure ulcers, radiation dermatitis, post surgical incisions, trauma wounds, pain reduction (by its ability to cool the wound surface and due to its high moisture content protecting exposed nerve surfaces).
