GUA7811 Footpiece Wheel Swivel 5 1 Tube Guardian
- Some patients are not capable of picking up a walker and setting it down with each step due to either a physical condition that produces upper body weakness or a severe imbalance. Wheels on a walker allow the patient to move the walker forward without having to pick the walker up. The Guardian swivel wheels have the advantage over fixed wheels of allowing the walker to turn with the user's movements thereby eliminating the need for the user having to pick up the walker or try and slide the walker when needing to turn around or change directions. The large 5" swivel wheels are able to negoiate rough terrain better than smaller diameter wheels. The #7811 swivel wheels fit Guardian walkers with one inch tubing. 3" swivel wheels are also available for patients that require a wheeled walker with a lower overall height.
