Companion ClearStar Enteral Pump (Ambulatory bag with preattached pump set). First ambulatory pump with automatic clog-clearing action responds to tube occlusion (increased resistance) by using gentle, pulsating pressure to restore fluid flow. Cassette technology minimizes risk of accidental free flow caused by incorrect setup and allows easy setup and operation. Lightweight pump functions in any position great for ambulatory use. Battery provides 16 hours of pump operation and recharges in just 8 hours. With the optional dose setting, pump alarms and stops feeding when dose has been delivered. Memory retains rate, dose, and volume-fed values even when turned off and unplugged. Delivery rate can be set from 1 to 300 mL/hr in 1-mL increments for pediatric and adult use.
