It's been around for 40 years. With constant improvements and new technology, the Midmark M7's reliability just keeps getting better. The Midmark M7 is economically priced. The self-contained unit sterilizes wrapped or unwrapped instruments, linen packs and glassware. It offers simple three-prong, plug-in operation for standard electrical outlets. No plumbing is required as the Midmark M7 has its own reservoir for distilled or de-mineralized water. With the front draining feature, it's easy to clean and maintain. All controls and information are on the front and easily accessible to the operator. Three corrosion-resistant, stainless steel trays are standard, which means you'll probably never have to buy another tray. Low water cutout switch prevents "dry burning". The Midmark M7 will operate only when there is enough water present. This prolongs the life of the heating element. Reset button saves time. It restores operation after the cutout switch is tripped and you have added water. The cycle timer regulates steam time from 0 to 30 minutes and automatically turns the Midmark M7 off when the sterilization cycle is complete. This prevents over-sterilization, which can reduce the service life of your instruments. A safety door protects the operator. It automatically seals when pressurized and will not allow the operator to open the door until the chamber is safely depressurized. The temperature regulator allows the operator to preset the temperature at a desired setting between 250 degrees F (121 degrees C) and 270 degrees F (132 degrees C). This control, acting as a thermostat, cycles the heating element on and off. A temperature gauge indicates the temperature inside the chamber. The gauge is graduated from 80 degrees F (26.7 degrees C) to 270 degrees F (132 degrees C). A pilot light is on when the heater is on. It cycles off and on during normal cycle.
