- Streck Retic-Chex II Control and Stain Set. 3 each x 1.0 mL control. 1 each x 3.0 mL stain. Retic-Chex Stain and Control are used to verify counting of whole blood reticulocytes to federal and state regulatory requirements. A buffered and filtered new methylene blue stain that produces an even distribution of red blood cells and optimal staining of reticulocytes for both patient and control preparations. Controls are manufactured from human red blood cells to assist in meeting federal and state regulations. Satisfies laboratory quality control requirements as a positive procedural control. Packaged in a 1.0 mL fill, Retic-Chex offers 75-day closed-vial stability and 14-day open-vial stability. 4/pk.
