- Continuous Cardiac Output VIP Catheter with SvO2 - contains AMC Thromboshield. Size: 8 Fr. Length: 110 cm. Designed to continuously monitor both cardiac output and mixed venous oxygen saturation when used with the Vigilance monitors. Swan-Ganz CCO/SvO2/VIP thermodilution catheters enable monitoring of hemodynamic pressures and provide an additional (VIP catheter) lumen that allows for continuous infusion. To measure cardiac output continuously, the Vigilance monitor uses thermal energy emitted by the thermal filament located on the catheter to calculate cardiac output using thermodilution principles. Alternatively, cardiac output can be measured using the traditional bolus thermodilution method. Available with or without AMC Thromboshield treatment, an antimicrobial heparin coating designed to reduce infection.
