- Assura High Output Drainable System 8116. Stoma size: 3/8"-2-1/8". In the first days following an ostomy surgery, effluent output is often very high. Some Ostomates continue to experience "high output" well after surgery. The Assura High Output System is the solution to post-surgery needs. Ileo Night Pouch provides large volume drainage for a restful night, and low risk of leakage or skin irritation. Night Pouch holds up to two liters comfortably. Two-piece construction with easy-to-use Assura lock technology allows wound and stoma assessment. Available in 50 mm and 60 mm openings for large or irrregular sites. Choice of Assura flanges, regular wear or extended wear to provide security and comfort. High Output Pouch for "step down" as effluent volume decreases after surgery and as the patient is being released for discharge. High Output Pouch holds up to 600ml, Transparent. In a controlled study of 13 patients, results support a 92% product preference for the Assura High Output System by enterstomal therapists. Longer wear time without leakage for fewer pouch changes per day. No nighttime disturbances related to the Ileo Night Pouch were recorded.
