- Peptamen Junior Complete Elemental Liquid Diet for Children provides a specifically designed protein, lipid, vitamin, and mineral profile for children ages 1 to 10 with impaired gastrointestinal function. Designed to be well tolerated by your most challenging pediatric patients, Peptamen Junior features the Proven Blend of whey-based peptides, a comprehensive antioxidant system, and optimal lipid blend. Peptamen Junior can provide complete or supplemental nutrition support. Children benefiting from Peptamen Junior Diet may include those with inflammatory bowel disease, short bowel syndrome, cystic fibrosis, chronic diarrhea, pancreatitis, malabsorption (e.g., cancer treatment, AIDS), cerebral palsy, delayed gastric emptying, and growth failure.
